What are my responsibilities as an Affiliate? Your only responsibility is to use the Link Generator, accessed via a password through your Affiliate Control Panel, to create and place links on your site. We handle everything else.

What are HPBacklink's responsibilities? We handle customer service and billing for all customers you refer to us.

How do I know how much commission I've earned? Through your Affiliate Control Panel, you can access reports, updated once daily, that provide information on impressions, click-throughs, orders and commissions earned. Please note that publisher earnings are released only once per month, so daily reporting is not available for this program.

What's the minimum required payout? You must have a minimum balance of $100.

When are payments made? Payments are issued the first week of the following month. For example, payment fo August commissions will be issued the first week of September.

Can I get a affiliate commission on my own account? Sorry we will not pay commissions on the affiliate's own HPBacklinks account.

How will you know that the orders came from my site? All links from your site to our site contain a unique identifier so that when a user comes to us via your site, we know to credit you when a purchase is made. This is only possible when you create all of your links with the Link Generator at your Affiliate Control Panel. A 60-day cookie is placed on the user's computer to track those who do not subscribe right away. If the user orders during that 60-day window you will still get credit for the sale, assuming the user hasn't cleared their cookies or clicked another affiliate's link since clicking your link.

What sales are eligible? The affiliate offer only applies to new accounts, not users with existing HPBacklinks accounts.

How are commissions calculated? For advertiser purchases, commissions will be paid at 10% of gross link purchases. One-time content purchases are not commission-able. For publisher earnings, commissions will be paid at 10% of net payouts. If we send a publisher $500 for the prior month's earnings, the referring affiliate would receive $50. Commissions for both advertiser link purchases and publisher payouts are recurring.
